At the Missouri Trucking Association SuperTech competition on April 10th, 2024, Hogan techs Clyde from St. Louis and Jessica from Springfield took the first and second place titles, respectively. In addition to their overall placement, Clyde won the Brakes & ABS station, and Jessica won the Tire & Wheel station.
The SuperTech competition takes place at both the state and national levels for full-time professional heavy-duty truck technicians. The contestants perform hands-on challenges and demonstrate their skills in the industry. According to the MTA website, “Typical stations include electrical system diagnostics, foundation brakes, tire failure/wear analysis, service information, and HVAC to name a few. The stations are selected to present equally challenging problems to both fleet maintenance and service shop pros.”
Hogan is committed to a standard of excellence, and both Clyde and Jessica’s performances in the SuperTech competition have demonstrated as such. We are incredibly proud of our team, and we want to celebrate Clyde and Jessica’s achievements.
